We will gladly ship your puppy to just about anywhere. We use WestJet and Continental Airlines as our carriers as puppy/dog travels in heated and pressurized cargo.
If you wish your new puppy/dog to be shipped we require full payment for the animal plus shipping fourteen (14) days prior to shipping date.
We will notify you as to flight number and arrival time to your destination as soon as we put the puppy on the plane. We always stay with the puppy until he/she is loaded onto the plane.
We must drive 2.5 hours to the airport, so we include a small mileage charge with our shipping price.
Shipping costs are individually calculated to reflect destination and include a travel crate (which is yours to keep), all medical/vaccination records, and a health check as required. These will be included with your puppy when you receive him. All Contracts, Guarantees, and Registration Papers signed and dated (that we sent to you before shipping) will be sent back to you in a separate envelope with the shipping documents. Keep them in a safe place.
We can also arrange to meet you (within a 200 km radius of our premises) to hand deliver your new puppy/dog. A small mileage charge will apply. We will then provide all documentation to you at the time we meet.
We strive to use the best method in getting your new puppy/dog to you. We want your new family member to arrive happy and in good health.
We suggest that once you get your new puppy home that you immediately give him/her some water and food and leave him/her alone to explore the new surroundings. Avoid over-handling for a minimum of 2 days so the puppy gets used to your home on his/her own. Remember that puppies need to sleep more often than an adult.
Should you new puppy experience diarrhea during this time, try to let nature take care of it. Bit if it continues for more than a day, try Gatorade and Kaopectate. Should it continue after treatment, contact your vet. Make sure you tell him you just received the puppy. Little ones can become dehydrated in a matter of hours which poses a grave health concern. Please read our article on HYPOGLYCEMIA:
Please remember that a new puppy cannot leave your premises (except to potty) under any circumstances until 10 days after his/her third vaccination given at 14-16 weeks. If you must go out, even to the vet's, make sure that puppy's feet never touch the ground or counter. This is to prevent the puppy from contracting an infectious disease, such as Parvo, which is now found everywhere.
